TikTok introduces lead-generating ads

TikTok wants to help advertisers gain more direct insights into potential customers with a new Lead Generation ad option that allows brands to capture user data directly from their In-Stream ads.

As TikTok explained:

"Lead Generation starts by making it easy for users to fill out the form and provide their information (e.g., name, email address, phone number) to signal their interest in a specific product or service. Additionally, the basic information that our users provide to TikTok can also be autofilled to ensure effective cooperation between the company and the user."

Many key data points can be autofilled, streamlining the process and making it easier for interested users to submit information directly to your business. You can also customize the header and profile picture in your form, as well as the questions on the list.

When users fill out the form, the information is then stored by TikTok and is available for download at a time of your choosing (with applicable privacy regulations). The data can also be integrated directly with your CRM system.
